Fly Draenei Friday

It’s Friday, Friday, gotta look fly on Friday!  Ok, I know that video is ancient in internet years, and the song was really bad, but oh well! Clever hook is clever 😉  This week I have a couple of reader mogs from Khemiä on Khaz Modan(EU).  She says she is ‘some kind of crazy transmog person’ and tends to change her hunter’s mogs every two weeks she loves all her sets so much!  I love her sets too!  She sent over a ton of them, so you may be seeing more in a few weeks 😀

I featured Jubilee last week and here she is looking awesome again!  Her set includes pieces from Amani Garb, with Starfire Waistband and Talon of Azshara.		Lastright’s creepy shoulders look pretty cool with the rest of her outfit. Black Mageweave Set, with Vestal’s Irrepressible Girdle.

Spotting a draenei man is like finding a rare spawn that no one is camping these days! Zaknafiend is sporting the Crystalforge Armor set.		Szei may be a panda, but his outfit is so super fly, I had to show him off.  He’s wearing the Boneshredder set with the Stylin’ Purple Hat, Rich Purple Silk Shirt, and Ice Striker’s Cloak.

I’m back with yet another fabulous Fly Draenei Friday!  Thanks to everyone who is sending their fly draenei to me, they are amazing!  I think the week needs two Fridays so I can show them off faster 😀  This week we have an awesome draenei monk mog from the lovely Samaramon.  She has a blog called Samaramon’s World where she posts all kinds of beautiful mogs, and lately she has been posting unique eye-makeup ideas to match them.  How cool is that?!  She also has some fantastic fan art, so make sure you check her out!

“I know this might look too simple compared to other outfits, but I like the simplicity as I don’t think monks need a lot of gear to fight, it would hold them back.  I like this because the color scheme is kind of earthy, green and brown, but also kinda tribal.”

 

 

 

Well Sam, in this case simple is beautiful, and I think your explanation of monks not needing huge pieces of gear is great!  Sam also said her monk is still leveling here, so kudos for looking good on the journey 😉

Alsu is looking hot in her Volcanic Vestments…		…and Pasito is soo cool in her Saltstone set with Heaving Plates of Protection.

Hooray for Friday!  A few days off and Fly Draenei time!  I hope everyone gets a well-deserved 3 day weekend, I know I’ll be sleeping in on Monday 😀  This week’s reader mog comes from the lovely Saz at World of Saz.  Saz has all sorts of nifty guides over at her blog, and a lot of great Shaman info, so be sure to check her out!

This is Saz’s priest Kallipso, looking absolutely elegant.  Saz says “For Kallipso I was shooting for something that was a little bit sexy, a little bit priesty sweet, with just a hint of sinister, since she has a tendency to swing between discipline and shadow.”  Nicely done, it looks great in and out of shadow form! I love the priest shoulders and helm from Naxx, I’ve got to get my priest leveled up and in some of this awesome gear.

I spotted Cepheia running around SW the other night and she would just not stand still long enough to take a shot.  I nervously decided to ask her if I could take a pic, and she was so nice!  She was really happy to have her mog noticed, and said I brightened her night!  I think she’s done a great job matching the Windchaser Amice and Robes with the Key to the Planes. She’s accessorized with Gloves of Piety and Serenity Belt.		Miylyka has really jazzed up her white mail set with some colorful pieces.  I farmed endlessly for those legs on my hunter, but now I’m thinking I should hand them down to my Shaman! Bonelink Epaulets, Harness of the Deep Currents, Modest Armguards, Sentry’s Gloves, Girdle of the Gale Storm, Elemental Rockridge Leggings, Imbued Infantry Boots, and the super pink Aegis of the Vindicator peeking out from the back.

Isterra is looking super fly in a red and maroon combo.  The way she tied the set together with the colors in the chestpiece was a fantastic idea! Tyrant’s Epaulets, Thorium Armor, Bloodforged Gauntlets, and Darkcrest Belt, Legguards and Boots.		Aryni is really rocking these thigh-high boots! I’ve had a similar mog on my wish-list forever, so it’s awesome to see someone in it 😉 Amethyst Beholder Eye, Brutal Gladiator’s Silk Amice, Barbaric Cloth Vest, Silver-Thread Gloves, Guardian’s Silk Belt, Barbaric Loincloth, and Suspicious Slippers.

Here’s just a few of the awesome Draenei I’ve run into recently!

Disoli has a great fire shaman look going on here. Tier 9 pants and belt, coordinate nicely with the tier 10 chest, Time Twister’s Gauntlets, Ravager’s Mantle and Crown of Destruction.		Ursalïna‘s Frostsythe of Lord Ahune looks even cooler with her mage ice barrier.  Her all-black look is super cool too! Black Velvet Robes, Silver-Thread Amice and Waist, and Malevolent Gladiator’s Silk Handguards.

Negere‘s set is a nice twist on the gold paladin look. Judgement Legplates and Belt, Conqueror’s Breastplate, Scarlet Filigreed Shirt, Bloodfist Epaulets and Lightbringer Greathelm.		Niozz has some super fly tan leather pieces in her monk transmog! The stylish Ranger Hat accompanies Trollwoven Spaulders, Nocturnal Tunic and the Earthborn Kilt.

Dragonslayer Juggsbunny of Zangarmarsh (US) looks like she’d scare the pants off of any dragon she ran accross!  Here’s what she says about it:

Here’s some fly Draenei I’ve spotted in my travels around Azeroth:

I spotted Bluepaizuri in Alterac Valley one night, and was so glad she decided to come defend Tower Point with me! I love her monk transmog so much, I even posted a similar one for Pink for a Cause, but her Stylin’ Purple Hat really makes her look rock!  The Runetotem’s Mantle looks great with the Headhunter’s set.		Jza‘s blue and white look is simple, but awesome!  The Sage’s set is accented by her guild tabard, and Sage’s Mantle – which is not actually part of the set. Key to the Planes is a great staff for this look, and the Dreadful Gladiator’s Mooncloth Helm is a fun touch.

Ællai is only level 48, but she is leveling in style!  This is a great black & white transmog for any level. Silver-Thread Amice, Sash and and Gloves, with Buccaneer’s Vest and Boots, and Aurora Pants.  The Flying Tiger Goggles are super cute too!		Saliona‘s mog starts with the Deathbone Girdle and Stoneform Shoulders, from the old Scholo. The rest of her black pieces with the slightest hint of purple make for a great look! Warrior’s Embrace, Bogslayer Gauntlets, Direwing Legguards, and Treads of Crushed Flesh.

Welcome back to another FDF!  This week I have another awesome mog from reader Simon.  You can see his first one here.  This time he’s done an NPC look-alike mog, or should I say a ‘look better than the npc’ mog 😉  Here’s what he had to say about it:

“Now, I don’t remember much from first entering Dalaran but as an Alliance I sure do remember the high elf guards standing outside A Hero’s Welcome had that one thing that gave the fact that they were battle mages away by simply glancing over at them. By that time, I was a human paladin and and transmogging was not around. But now that I have got my level 90 draenei mage, I’ve done my best to replicate it ^^”

Great job once again!  You can see the inspiration here. The Goldweave Tunic and Blue Linen Shirt are a great choice to replicate the original chestpiece, as both are very detailed.  Head over to wowhead to see all the items he used, including a sword and book to go with it!  Thanks for sending her in Simon, keep up the amazing mog work!!

Storminnorma used the Lawbringer Belt and Greaves of the Martyr as excellent accents to her Judgement Set pieces.		Zenicus is one super fly dude in Aldor Regalia with Angelista’s Sash, and the Apostle of Argus for a staff.

Kundun is another Draenei monk looking amazing in Rogue gear! The Cowl of Defiance tops off Tier 8 recolor pieces.		Kylahgedon‘s choice of shoulder here is really great.  She’s wearing Stormcaller’s Pauldrons with the Battleforge set.

It’s been a few too many weeks without FDF action!  Let’s get to it!

This week’s fly reader mog comes from Asuî of Moonglade(EU).  I love the artistic portrait shots she’s sent in 🙂  Her outfit is highlighted beautifully with Vashj’ir as a background!  Asuî is wearing the Jade Plate set with Bile-Etched Spaulders, Tabard of Summer Skies, Twilight Cape, and the Scepter of Sha’tar. Super Fly!  Thank you so much for sending you mog in Asuî, and you are right, looking at lovely mogged Draenei is never a bore!

Now for some awesome mogs I’ve spotted recently, including one I found thanks to CRZ :O

Dêcadêncê has a nice aqua and purple look going on here.  The Royal Qiraji Belt looks really great with the Imbued Plate Armor and Revenant Leggings.		Dvartis has a very simple, yet elegant look here. I love the way this belt works with this dress model, as it’s always been a challenge finding one.

I spotted Lightbreeze while CRZ’d with some friends on Lightbringer.  Another awesome use of the MoP belt, and the Collar of Cho’gall works really well with the priest tier 4 pieces.		Orphyria is fully decked out in the Replica Heroism set, which is just gorgeous. The Golden Lotus Tabard is a great accent to the set, and grats to her for sticking through the 8 years of dailies it took to get the tabard 😉

This week I have a super fly mog from a reader named Simon.  He says this is by far the best transmog he’s come up with, but I say I cant wait to see more, because this one is awesome!!  He’s used the new leggings model introduced with Mists here, which is awesome because I haven’t featured any of the new gear yet!  Maybe I should get on that…

Like the monk I spotted last week, Faludi is using several rogue tier pieces in her super fly mog. Tier 13 chest head and gloves, with tier 9 shoulders, and simple Daggercap Trousers.		This death knight look is so fly. The shoulders and legs from DK tier 10 are combined with pieces from tier 13, and topped off with the Tabard of the Ebon Blade.  The sword is pretty amazing too.

Boredtodeath‘s gold mail mog really stands out! Glimmering Mail Legguards, Pauldrons and Girdle are paired with, Burnished Tunic and Battlecaller Gauntlets.		Kelpret looks great in her Gronnstalker’s Armor. The headpiece she chose, Brigade Circlet, coordinates really nicely!

I love doing Fly Draenei Friday, it’s one of my favorite things about this blog.  I especially love when my super fly readers send me their awesome mogs!!

This week’s reader mog is from Katsumii of Caelestrasz (US). Her violet dress is absolutely stunning, and coordinates beautifully with her cloak and shoulders.

I’ve spotted Qandisa before looking super fly, and here she is in another awesome look!  I love the way her sword and offhand shine.  wowhead		Woo, finally a Draenei monk!  Hatsuyuki has combined some rogue tier 9 off-set pieces with some bad-ass fist weapons for a super fly look.

Amadita‘s mix of Lofty Legguards with the Glorious Set looks really great with her Tushui Pandaren Tabard.		Salores accented her Robes of Insight with this new Mists belt model, a great choice for letting the dress stand out.

Satsuri in Sundered Armor and Titan-Forged Shoulders of Dominance, and Drainee

A few days ago I was running back and forth between the Leatherworking shop and the mailbox nearby, when a Draenei on a cloud serpent caught my eye.  I stopped to check her out, as she looked pretty fly at first glance, when I realized it was Satsuri!  We have chatted in blog comments before, but this was the first time I’d run into her in game.  We he a nice chance to talk, mainly about her super fly transmog!  I love the way she’s coordinated her mog with her Order of the Cloud Serpent Tabard.  She told me she’s planning on making mogs for all of the faction tabards, which sounds awesome and I hope I get to see them!!

More people are finally starting to mog again, so here are a few gals spotted around Proudmoore recently:

Moxyshock is also wearing the Titan-Forged Shoulders of Dominance but with the Ornate Mail set.  I’m loving these shoulders, it makes me want to level my Shaman up so I can mog them too:)		Dalende looking fly in the Bloodscale set paired nicely with the Sparkbreath Girdle and invisiboots – Ancient Skeletal Boots. Her shield is The Fel Barrier.

Tengaaris did an awesome job coordinating pieces with the Enchanted Thorium Breastplate and Leggings.  Stormforged Shoulders, Ymirjar Lord’s Handguards, and Boots of Kingly Upheaveal really pull this look together.		Batousi looks great in her fiery mail set. Crown of Flame, Rocket-Chief Pauldrons, Masterwork Breastplate, Dragonfire Gloves, Firearrow Belt, Grunt’s Legguards, and Scaled Draenic Boots.
